Hello, my name is Sununta Gatebung. My nickname is Gait. I have been at Breanna's House of Joy since January 2015 and I am from the Lahu tribe.
Needs $0 of
$1,800 for 2019. Or $0/month.
OUR GOAL: A CIRCLE OF SUPPORTERS GIVING $150/MONTH OR $1800 FOR THE YEAR.
Gait was six years old when she came to live at BHJ. She is the only ethnic Thai little girl that we have...(we accept her as Lahu because her Thai uncle married a Lahu woman.) Her uncle and auntie worked as construction workers. They changed their work place often as the job demanded. Sometimes, they had to stay overnight at a construction site. Gait would have to go with them. She ran and played at many dangerous construction areas. Gait's parents abandoned and neglected her since she was less than a year old. Gait's uncle and auntie tried to take care of her, but it was a difficult situation with them working at construction sites. Gait's living condition was not safe and she did not have a chance to go to school. Gait had told the people at the construction sites that she wanted to go to school and be a doctor someday.
Gait is a very social little girl! She loves to have fun with her friends at BHJ. She always has a big smile on her face.
